3.Charging Current Setting
Q: How do I set the charging current (16A / 24A / 32A / 40A / 50A)?
A: You need to match the setting to your circuit’s capacity, following this guideline:
• 20A circuit → Set to 16A
• 30A circuit → Set to 24A
• 40A circuit → Set to 32A
• 50A circuit → Set to 40A or 50A
After setting, the LCD screen will monitor the real-time current and power.
4.Compatibility
Q: Is this J1772 EV charger universally compatible?
A: Yes, it works well with all J1772 EVs, including models from BMW, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Porsche, Nissan, Chevy, and Tesla (Tesla requires an adapter) produced before 2025.
Please note: For 2025 and newer models, some with NACS (J3400 Charging port) are not compatible with J1772 charging. We recommend checking your car’s official website before placing an order.
5.Troubleshooting

1. If there’s an error code: Check the manual, then unplug the charger for 60 seconds and reset it.

2.Lens Fogging Issue
Q: Why does the lens fog up?
A: This may be caused by a blockage in the ventilation hole due to dirt, cobwebs, or dust. The ventilation hole is specifically designed to prevent condensation from accumulating inside the lens.
3.Fixing Lens Fog
Q: How to fix lens fog?
A: Follow these two simple steps:
1. Carefully wipe the ventilation hole or blow it out with compressed air to remove any blockages.
2. Activate the low beam light for 20 minutes, or alternatively, place a silica gel pack inside to absorb the remaining moisture.
4.Installation Guide
Q: How to install the new headlight assembly?
A: Please follow this step-by-step process:
1. Remove the original assembly: Pop the hood, pull up the headlight tabs, use a T20 Torx driver to remove the parking light (take out the small Torx screw and pull it out), pull the headlight forward, and unplug the wiring connector and bulbs.
2. Install the new assembly: Transfer the bulbs to the new assembly, plug in the wiring harness, fit the new assembly into place, secure the parking light with the T20 Torx driver, clip the tabs down, and close the hood.
